We can do better
We provide care & love
The orphanage
I spent time with eight boys at the orphanage, organizing educational and recreational activities, providing food and support, and taking them on enjoyable outings that created memorable experiences.
Daycare
I assisted at the daycare by helping care for young children, organizing educational and creative activities, singing and dancing with them, and providing food and drinks throughout the day.
Build
I helped renovate and paint classrooms, including building toilet facilities, alongside other volunteers and local community members, using funds raised by the volunteers themselves.
Collecting glasses
I collected and donated 30 kilos of eyeglasses for a trip to Ghana, which were pre-measured in the Netherlands and greatly appreciated by the local community.
Making clothes
I helped coordinate the production of 500 school uniforms for students by working with a fabric workshop and contributing to ensuring the children had proper school clothing.
Health insurance
I paid for one year of health insurance for the orphanage community, including insuring a newborn baby and 28 additional people to ensure they had access to healthcare.
